Owned by Ian, a lifelong dog owner with a particular passion for working breeds. Having owned and cared for many working dogs, including German Shepherds, Kelpies and other working breeds, Ian understands just how important it is to have complete confidence in the people caring for your pets while you are away.

Ian purchased The Pet Ranch with a clear vision: to create one of the most caring and trusted boarding facilities for dogs and cats in the region. His goal was to give back to the dog and cat community by creating a place where owners can leave their beloved pets knowing they are in the safe and capable hands of an experienced and dedicated team. At The Pet Ranch, your pets are more than just guests. Their comfort, wellbeing and individual needs are at the heart of everything we do, giving you peace of mind while they enjoy their stay with us.

Personalised Bookings

Because Every Pet Is Different

At The Pet Ranch, we do not offer online bookings. We believe that providing the best possible care starts with getting to know your pet before they arrive.

We prefer to speak personally with every owner so we can learn about your pet’s individual personality, temperament, routine and specific care requirements. This gives you the opportunity to tell us everything we need to know, including dietary needs, medications, health considerations, behavioural requirements and any special routines that help your pet feel comfortable and settled.

By taking the time to have this conversation, our experienced team can ensure we are fully prepared for your pet’s stay and can provide the individual care and attention they deserve.

For new dogs, or dogs with specific behavioural or care requirements, we may also recommend a pre-boarding assessment before accepting a future booking.
